Stranger Things…… Is this what the goonies would have been like if set on Prometheus?

After watching a whole series of Stranger things in 1 weekend, I’m not exactly here to slag it off. It rocks!

Set in the early 80’s before I was even born it really shouldnt be that nostalgic for me but it is. Mentions of Risky Business, Dungeons and dragons, All The Right Moves, Atari, and many more as well as a feel that every 80s and 90s kid will embrace warmly as what tv and films were lik

e when we were young.

You follow a ‘party’ of four teenaged boys and there new found friend Eleven on whirlwind adventure into the exciting yet dangerous and as the title states outright strange.

Classic Sci-fi style monsters based on the styles of Alien, Jaws, etc. Leave you on the edge of your seat regularly whilst the editing and directing of scene cuts give you unexpected jumps.

It is a wholly suspenseful and entertaining ride which is executed brilliantly by a colourful cast including Millie Bobby Brown and Winona Ryder.

I will have to cut this one short as there is still season 2 waiting fir me to watch 😀
